Viewing, Wake, Or Visitation before a Muslim Funeral

When a Muslim dies, the body should be buried as soon as possible after death. For close family and friends, arrangements are made at the Funeral Home for viewing.

During the viewing, light refreshments are served to the visitors and meals are prepared for the bereaved family for three days to alleviate their suffering.
