 We are very sad to announce the demise of Mohtram Mirza Lutf-ur-RahmanAnwar Sahib (Waqif Zindagi) Son of Hazrat Mirza Barkat Ali (ra) Sahabi (companion of Promised Messiah as), who passed away on Thursday September 28 , 2017 age of 88 years, in Round Rock, Texas, USA.

By the grace of Allah, Mirza Lutf-ur-Rahman sahib devoted his life in 1945 upon the directive of Hazrat Khalifatul -Masih II (ra). After completing the Shahid degree from Jami’a Ahmadiyya Rabwah, he was appointed as a Missionary in Hamburg, Germany in 1959. He started the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Lome, Togoland in 1960. Soon after, he was appointed as the Missionary Incharge of Greater Accra Region, Ghana. He also had the opportunity to serve the Mission in Kenya, East Africa. After his return to Pakistan in 1974, he was appointed as Managing Director of Al-Shirkatul Islamiya. He served Wakalat Tasnif in Rabwah from 1991 to 2004.

He was married to (Late) Mohterma Amtul Karim Nusrat Mirza Sahiba, daughter of Mirza Barkat Ali Sahib, of Abadan, Iran, and granddaughter of Hazrat Bhai Abdul Rehman Sahib Qadiani, three years after her demise in 2003 he married to Bushra Khalida Sahiba, daughter of Mian Ismaeel Sahib, who passed away in 2013.

He was the younger brother of (Late) Respected Mirza Fazlur Rahman Sahib of  Brampton and (Late) Respected Rashid Zohra Khan Sahiba of Mississauga Jama’at. Many of his close relatives reside in GTA.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amin!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amin!
