Obituary of Farrukh Taj Begum Minhas

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Farrukh Taj Begum Minhas Sahiba of Vaughan Jama‘at, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 91 years, in Karachi, Pakistan.

Details are as follows:

Respected Farrukh Taj Begum Minhas Sahiba was born to Respected Mian Ghulam Nabi Khan MinhasSahib and Respected Hameeda Begum Sahiba in 1929, in Qadian, India. She was the granddaughter (Nawasi) of Hazrat Hakim Muhammad Zaman Abbasi (ra), a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). She was the wife of late Respected Chaudhary Muhammad Akbar Bhatti Sahib of Bakho Bhatti, Sialkot. She moved to Canada in 2011 and went to visit Pakistan at the beginning of this year, where she stayed until her demise.

She was named Farakh by Hazrat Nawab Amatul Hafeez Begum Sahiba and was seen as a cute child amongst the ladies of the family of Hazrat Aqdas Massih Maud AS. At the age of 35 she became a widow but raised her 6 daughters gracefully and bravely educated and got them married. She was dedicated and focused and had a strong belief in Allah Almighty

By the grace of Allah, she was a pious lady. She was a Musia, was regular in her daily prayers, and had a deep love for the Jama‘at and Khilafat Ahmadiyya.

She has left behind six daughters, 17 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Her Funeral Prayer and Burial took place on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Bahishti Maqbarah DarulFazal, Rabwah, Pakistan.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the hereafter! May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieving family and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
